I just joined this forum a few days ago and already you guys have saved me several hundred dollars!!!

My stealership was in the process of "splitting the cost" with me on 4 new tires due to cupping and excessive wear. I thought that was a pretty good deal until I did a search (here on this site) for Dunlop DSST RunFlat tires and lo and behold....a TSB from June of 2005 appears!!

I called my SA and mentioned it and he feigned ignorance. I emailed it to him and I got a call from him an hour later saying my baby was getting new shoes...totally FREE!!!

I already had the car there for scheduled maintenance and a seatbelt repair and was given a loaner Cadillac for the next two days, so they are going to put the tires on during this period too.

A round of applause and big thumbs up to you all......

Hatchman50,

Good for you! If it's not too late...make sure you ask them to clean any black marks from your wheels should they change the balancing weights on your rims. I just had mine replaced two weeks ago....also free...but three wheels have ugly black marks from the original locations of the balance weights.
