Hey everyone! Well I just received the wheels i ordered (18 x 8, gun metal, +34 offset).... Love them! EXCEPT that when i went to get them installed, on a 225/40 tires.... They look awful!.... The gap (space) above the tire is Huge, making the wheel look very small... SO need your expert Help and opinion:
1. Guys at the tire shop would not even dare to try a wider or a higher profile tire, saying they simply would not fit...
2. What is your experience with this?
3. They also said clearance Was not enough to fit a wider rim.... So how is it possible to fit an 19 x 9 or 8.5? Does the car need mods?

ANYONE out there using 18x8: what tires are u using.... ANY pics would Help a lot

My best to all!

Then order 15mm spacers plus bolts and either sell tires and buy new ones or use what ya got or sell it all and start over.

@525ienjoy, have not bought the tires yet.. just trying them out.. spacers and bolts of 15mm.. ok.. its worth a try.. look at the pics first and give me some opinion.

@dknewyork... here they are.. 18x8 sitting on a 225/45...

Still want to try 245/45 and see how they look like..

STILL dont know if these wheels looked better on the website than the actual image...

spacers will be 15mm hub centric and have vendor add bolts. You might need them for the rear (optional).

Tires run 245/40

Is your car the XI or rwd just making sure
