I got a print out of my options, and one of them is

2CF which says at the end "W RUNFLAT TYRE"

I looked at the tires and can't find any indication that they're actually runflats. Should the tire say "runflat" on it?

They're Continentals, so should they say "SSR" or something?

TIA

it should say somewhere on the tire RFT in a circle, or you can drive through glass and nails and see how far you get

i like the idea of driving through glass better.

i got this car cpo, so the previous owner must have replaced the tires with non-runflat.

thanks!

What year and model is your car?
What make and model are the tires?

I think these are the tires: ContiTouringContact CV95

it doesn't appear they are runflat.

Check and see if there is a spare - that may give a clue.

Not really. Here in the US, the spare is required, RFT or not. All come with the spare. In Europe, RFT equipped cars don't get the spare...

Really??? I thought that the 3's don't have spares. I know for a fact that the Minis don't have spares. My wifes Sienna AWD van has RFTs and also has no spare.

If you believe Wikipedia, e60's have space for a spare because design began before the RFT introduction to the BMW line. The e90's do not have space for a spare.

But back to the OP's question, the tire should say RFT, or SST on it
