hi guys,

regarding this, the previous owner had an after-market blue tooth module installed (Siemens) and apparently he put it on dashboard using some kind of super glue. i tried wd40 and rubbing alcohol but they didnt managed to do the trick. Do you know of any product that will successfully remove this substance without damaging the dashboard?

im attaching a couple of screenshots to give a better view of the problem:

i will appreciate any help

thnx

Nail polish remover kills crazy glue but I dont know what it would do toy the dash itself. There is an item sold that is marketed specifically for removing super glue though.

Might try goo-gone, or orange oil.

DO not use acetone or nail polish remover. It will affect the surface on the dash. Whatever you are chemical you are trying, test in an inconspicuous area first.

I would try lifting with duct tape or double side mounting tape first. Also try warming up with hairdryer before lifting attempts.
