I just do a little less that what the door jam says, because of the summer heat right now.

I set mine once...reset the TPM...and don't ever check it again. As far as the actual pressures, I don't recall them at the moment, but I set both the rears and the fronts about 2 psi higher than the door jam shows. I find the car handles a bit "sharper" with the pressures elevated slightly.

Funny you mention it. Last night on the way home I got a flat tire warning. I pulled into a walmart to see what tire was low. I didn't notice any tire being low, so I went to a gas station to fill it up. It didn't have a tire pressure built in so I added a bit of air. My tire was not registering a PSI in the morning when I went to look, the left rear was flat, and I checked my right rear and it was showing 22PSI. I hadn't checked the PSI in a long time.

You know, iys a very good question. I have the 2005 545i so it doesnt give an actual pressure, only differences bw the wheels. After I bought my car I didnt check for 6 months and didnt really notice anything (atleast I didnt realize it bc i have runflats). I decided one day to check and would you believe both rears were at 22 and frints were 17-18...how the heck does that happen that they all lose air equally? So now I check every 1-2 months
