As the topic says I have 20" DPE st-10 wheels and as everyone has seen I had a blow out during midnight run. I was running front 245/30/20 rear 285/25/20 with 36 PSI all around. right now I have front 245/35/20 and rear 285/30/20 can someone help me on how much PSI is good for 20" rims? I would like to know before this saterday as it is bear mt and my car is in the shop right now being raised and adjusted.

Link to my blown tire....

I run the same size tires as you are now (F - 245/35/20, R - 285/30/20). I am running 40psi in the front and 38 in the rear. A lot of others run near 35 PSI, but since I have coilovers I wanted the tires a little stiffer as well.

BTW, you're a brave man running 25 sidewalls in NYC - eesh, I am not that brave

The specific PSI for any tire size is listed on the driver's side door panel, and is listed in your owner's manual. Depending on the specific tire and typical load of your car (number of passengers etc.), BMW recommends between 32 to 35 psi.

I think those recommended PSI were intended for stock rims, not 20"

+1 When you go plus 3 on the wheels size the door jam numbers pretty much go out the window.

One thing to consider is how fast you go in those tires...

I am actually doing 40 all around.

Oh also there was a great little article in Roundel a couple of months ago on how to properly adjust your tire pressure, it was focused on auto-x but works well for daily driving as well.
