After one year I am more convinced than ever that it is the best choice in its class, at least for me. The A6 is the only car of the competition that I really appreciate and it is definitely second to the E60. In fact, the E39 might come before current A6.
Best of luck and enjoy.

Anyways, I like my car, but I could always use more power on the higher RPM and a little less torque on the lower RPM to minimize "jerky" starts.

About once a week, after getting home from work, I say to my wife "OMG, I forgot to tell you!" and she says "WHAT!???" and I reply "I LOVE MY CAR!!!"
She falls for it everytime.
I honestly think she got sick of hearing me bitch about my Lexus for 39 months.
Bimmer32... don't touch that torque - it makes the car and is perfect for my 0-30-0 trip home.![Smile](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/smile.gif)
edit: The GS430 is a fine car - just was not right for me.... oh crap, why am I even writing this... the seat heaters worked like crap, the wood steering wheel was ice cold in the winter, and scalding hot in the summer, and yet slippery all year round, I had a ton of problems with the car, it was unstable on the highway, the tires wore out faster than Dunlop run-flats, the seats sucked, the car had less technology than my 2000 540ia..... There, I feel better now.

If it wears off then mod the car and it will be a new car again. ![Devil](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/devil.gif)
