How long does it take your car to go to sleep ?

Thanks for all the feedback. I don't have any after-market devices installed in my car. I tried with door locked or unlocked. It makes no difference. I don't get the battery discharge warning message. Dealer ran a test and couldn't find anything wrong. I wonder what is the BMW official techinical spec on this.

I do doubt it. But all these functions do need a good battery, of course.
The battery life for any "normal" premium car is 3-4 years.
I'm sure you now understand why a OEM battery is needed.
A new OEM battery is not even that expensive.

Talking about batteries, the reason why there isn't any more Prius's or
similar cars is do to the low battery tech of today.
Takes much more than it gives.

How long do your kids toys batteries last?

mine has had trouble sleeping in the past...half an ambien and a glass of scotch does the trick though
