How long do you warm up your car before driving?

Extreme operation (reving to redline etc) should be avoided until the engine and drivetrain [including tires] have had some warm-up.
My cold start regimen:
Buckle up
Start the car
Check gauges and such
Pair phone (if it was not turned on)
Enter Nav destination ...
Takes all of 45-60 seconds ... then drive off - operating the car in moderation until it has reached operating temp.
After prolonged hard driving I usually take the last 1-3 miles of driving in moderation to permit a gentle shut down once I've pulled into my driveway or garage.
Sort of the same regime I use at the gym ... warm-up - stretch - work-out - cool down - go drink beer!

Most engines don't require warm-up since more than 10 years ago. You don't believe the technology today?

Obviously common sense should be used with a cold engine, i'm sure the manufacturers wouldn't recommend laying down rubber from cold but there is no need to idle an engine before pulling away.
My Range Rover handbook states that this should not be done as the V8 engine has a low oil pressure from cold at idle speed, so they recommend driving straight after starting.
As always.....just my opinion
