How to find driver for these bolts?

sometimes you may be able to use 12pt sockets, if you dont have the reverse torx.

get from dealer. they use these on the E90. I did a change on several parts of E90 and to take the valve cover off there were 16 of these. BMW recommends replacing each time you take on/off because they're aluminum but I reused them on that repair and picked up a few spares. There is a special spacer on those. Pay attention to the torque specs or you'll be tapping into the bolt and reversing it out! that sucks.

Drive to your nearest auto parts store, buy the set, open the hood and verify fitment. If it doesn't fit well, you can return it there and then
