I had her at a steady 137, on our way to our dinner meet and greet, actually it was on our way to anthony's house.........I wanted to do more, but I didn't know where I was going so I slowed down.
I can confirm this is true! He flew right past me. I thought it was Superman for a second.

Fastest was 250km/h on the tacho, probably 235km/h for real. I hear you thinking: Impossible with a 520d. But it was in the south of Germany: Downhill...

+1

I do this almost every week on my route (240-250) -- its amazing how quick the 520d is... downhill

European cars are electronically limited to 250KM/H (~155MPH)
My 530d stock has reached it without any hassle
I wonder how much it will go without it speedo is marked to 260KM/H (161MPH)
I have removed VMax and I went (little) above 260 KM/H ... The car doesn't make any strange moves, it's very stable.
Speed was mentionned on Tom Tom navigator ...

I also drive bikes (Honda CBR Fireblade), that goes with ease above 300 KM/H, but on the bike it's very scary ....
