Frankly, I'm not that impressed; but most important, I MISS the WEATHERBAND (from my past three 5 series cars) . Seems to me, for that money, they could have found room in there for it.

Cheers,

Before anyone starts to complain about their Prologic 7, take a look at the link below on the Club Lexus forum:

I love the sound on my H/K. Love the accuracy (though not as accurate as my polk/yamaha setup at home), love the clarity, and love the accurate and clean BASS responses.

As you are probably aware, the lack of WB isn't L7 related. I have L7 and MP3 and WB.

People always think I have an aftermarket system when I roll up on them. It seems the bass loves to flow outside of the car, making me look somewhat like a poser.

Anyone else notice this? Bass is very audible from outside the car at mid-volume.

For a stock system I think it is great. Especially when you consider how the sound system is integrated with the iDrive system.
I'm not opposed to modding the sound system, but it's not for me anymore.
L7 will suffice quite niecly!

Oh yes... Bass leaks... but I dont hear anything else outside the car... Otherwise I think the E60 does a good job keeping in the stereo aside from bass

I have the weather band on my 545i. I not sure why though. Is it part of the radio, SIRIUS, BMW connect?

I have weather band and it's not because of Sirius...

The 2004 owner's manual (at least) shows it as optional.

When I test drove the car, I thought Logic 7 was ok but not great. The SA went inside for a few minutes and I started playing with the sound. As soon as I adjusted the equalizer and settings, it rocked. The dealer probably never even looked at how it was set up.

I was impressed enough to add it to my order.
