i hate pressing down on the hood when closing it. i let it drop and slam closed. less chance of denting your hood this way i beleive.

you guys?

I do both... I have no real standard. I don't Slam, slam it though.

i bet those cf hoods are more durable then our oem once?

At first I pull it down by grabbing the locking hook underside of the hood, and then drop it from 10" height.
By this way I don't have to touch the paint.
