How do u use the headlight wash?? (newbie sorry)

I dont know how to use the headlight wash, it seems to come on sometimes when you wash the windscreen, and other way??

Yep - comes on with the windscreen wiper spray only. It does so at lockout intervals so if you spray your windscreen first and get a headlight spray, you won't get a headlight spray again if you spray your windscreen again. No way to manually activate just the headlight washers dude.

Yep, unless it's changed on the LCI models the headlight washers will only operate when the headlights are turned on, and will typically operate with every 5th spray of the windshield.

I personally think BMW put the headlight washer in as a novelty to sell cars. It doesn't really clean the headlights near as efficiently as plain old fashioned cloth.

Or even the ones which had small wiper blades to clean them.

Although it's a real task to get that cloth on the lights when doing 50MPH
