I need to tighten one of the fender bolts that is under there. I took all of the plastic screws and metal screws out but it does not move. Anyone taken this off? I removed 8 plastic Torq screws, 2 sheet metal screws at the front and back. Maybe i need to pull harder but i do not want to break something?

1.) attach chains under side skirts by the jacking points
2.) hook chains to another vehicle preferably a nice diesel truck or hummer
3.) floor it!

But really I found this on here, kudos to this person

This looks to be easier than the grill swap.

Make sure to put plenty of towels on the floor to avoid scratching on the floor and a second person to lift the other end so you don't scratch it against the central door jamb pillar.

Do you think my six year old could be the second person? Ha ha

Ha ha! My second person was my 5 year old!

The first time I did it was by myself and I scratched it. Then I noticed that I installed it differently from the other side (under the fender liner trim), so I reinstalled that side with the help of my son. Just first show him\her how high to lift it and place it where and to hold it in place while you bolt down your end and then work your way to the other end.

BTW, use some masking tape on the top middle of the sideskirt so that you won't scratch it against the center door pillar. You can then pull and peel the tape off afterwards.
