If the car's still running, you probably have the right software version.

Good Point, I'll just wait for the mp3 cd update. I miss my iPod adapter so much

its in the shop now ... have a brand soanking new X3 for a loaner. they said it might take till friday ... they are reprogramming, and testing .. they have ordered a space computer just in case that something happens.

Oh Yeah! I always hear the sounds of DVD or CD drivers working...

after like 10 mins after I parked the car....WHY?

Is that normal for E60? But What is It Doing tho??

My Ride: 2005 545i with Sport Pkg, Nav, HUD, Cold Weather Pkg, Rear Shades

I get the same. Haven't had time to check if it is the NAV DVD or my in dash CD.

Keep getting noises even if the key is not in and car has been switched off for a while (maybe longer than 10 mins - but can't confirm).
