You need to ask your dealer.
Nobody has found a way to determine it without the dealer plugging the car into their diagnostic equipment and getting a printout, etc. Believe me, people have (and are still) trying to figure it out for themselves but at this time, no such luck...

Turn left 3 clicks
Turn right 1 click

It's definitely not the latest though, I'm getting 16.2 soon. Hmm, I wonder if old software could have been the cause of my BT problems with the Treo 650. When I get updated I'll have to try it again.

Whoa.... I thought the clicking around iDrive to see the version didn't work in NAV cars but apparently you got something I've never seen before and I dont think anyone has,..... Interesting screens!! I'll mess around with it just as soon as I get my car back from service.

Its got to be in the car. In fact I bet its coded on the key. The key has all kinds of data on it from VIN #, mileage to service control messages and intervals.
