I have a 2007 550i with ~70k miles on it. I'm running Conti DW's at 35psi all around.
Normal condition driving is smooth and the car doesn't roll or wallow at all in turns...doing the push test on the trunk or hood doesn't result in lots of up and down oscillation.
...but it shudders when hitting speed bumps or rough roads. Seems worse in the back than the front.
Does that sound like worn/shot bushings on certain suspension components?
I've tried to compare to other cars, but it's hard when you're not in the driver seat...
Interesting that we have the same question for my wife's 2004 Expedition with ~70k miles on it, too.

jack the car up, try to tilt the wheel. if there is any play at all, you need to get your suspension components looked at to determine the specific cause. try to listen while you are going over those bumps for any squeaky noised coming from the rear. i heard it, checked for play, and found the the rear drivers side wheel could be slightly tilted. ended up being the rear knuckle. $450 for the part, but you only have to replace the affected side.

Good question though - I've got 82K on my vehicle, drives great - wonder if/when struts will need to be replaced.
