How to Clear Airbag light???? HELPPP!

I took my door panels off and when I plugged them back in the airbag light came on. Does anyone know how to reset this light???? Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you!

yes the same look i had when i saw the light on.. I was told it was because I didnt disconnect the battery prior to uninstalling the panels (side airbags).. but I'm not sure. I guess I'm going to have to bring it to the stealership on Monday.

Dealer (my guess $100 to "diagnose" and clear) :thumbsdown:
Independent mechanic with the right scanner tool (read other members getting it done for about $40-$50)
Buy the Bavarian technic scanner (about $280 but you can can cause and clear all the airbag errors you want!)

. Punishment is now that you have to pay to have the error cleared, lesson learnt. If your unsure ask some one here first.

Mine side Airbag did the same thing when the body shop took off the side door panel and installed my new OEM M5 side mirrors and had to taken back to my BMW StealerShip that was going to charge me $100,00. but did do it for $50.00. : )
