My Ride: E60 525i pre LCI

Hi, my 2006 E60 525i failed a warrant of fitness inspection because the front fog lights were aimed too high.
They look fine to me. I have pulled the plastic grille off which reveals a single screw, which I'm assuming changes the angle.
Is this correct? And if so, what is the standard DIY method of measuring the angle of the beam?
Thanks

Here's a link to a BMW Technical Information Service document that is everything BMW. Flip through it and like the procedure for adjusting your lights and you will be good to go.
