Default how to !!!!

i have a 05 545i auto and when takeing the traction control off it still kicks back in when tires break loose!!!anything i can do to keep it from kicking back on ? thanks

You going down the button until it is completely off or just pressing the button?

You'll need to hold the button down for a few seconds to completely deactivate traction control and stability control. Just pushing the button will deactivate traction control but leave stability control enabled. Use caution and be safe!

Why would the OP want to turn that off? Is he trying to do donuts in his e60 or drift?

I turn mine off when i want to sprint drive. When i shift into second gear the rear wheels spin and activate the traction control which cuts the gas to the engine. When its off, that's when you really have fun, every gear holds you back in your seat :-)

I have done a few donuts and it is pretty fun but not on public roads
