the horn is not too sensative, you really need to be very upset and give it a hard push before it blows.
i also think mine's position on the steering wheel if 'off'?the effective area is not directly under the horn logo...

anyone notice on theirs?

I'm selling mine right now!! Anybody want to buy it? Slightly defective, hard to blow horn.

Actually, I have noticed that mine requires quite a bit of pressure to activate as well. However, I generally prefer to drive out of or through situations and not blow the horn unnecessarily.

Me too... but when I do use it... I use it for a good 30 secs... to really blow at the F@*#&$ that cut me off.

oppss..i was afraid to say that...believed it or not i feel bad about what i am about to say. I killed a pigeon once..and i think it was part because I could not beep my horn on time.
It is either too hard to press or it is in an wayward poistion.

Right or left? If I hit mine on the right, I usually wind up changing my entertainment setting (programmable button). If I hit it on the left, I just get blowed....oh well, you know what I mean.

choose your weapon.

You are right on, rollee. I like to give a light toot for greeting or nudge. Hard to do. Wonder if there is a spring under there we could clip a coil off.

JDN...you know whats funny... its that if you want to give the quick greeting "toot", to sombody whos passing, you try to give the horn a fast strike, but no sound comes out, then you give it another and still no sound comes out by the second hit. you start to speed up the hits a few fast ones and by the fifth hit you, have acommplished nothing but get frustrated. you hit it 5 times and no sound came out, you have not greeted anybody, this is embarasing espically if they have greeted you. and whats more embarsing is that if sombody saw you doing this, not to mention somebody riding with you....

but I do take out all that frustration when some one cuts me off, i make up for all the time the horn didnt want to sound, for a good 30+ seconds...eheheh
