[quote name='pogo1' date='Sep 26 2005, 06:31 AM']There are a few mods i would like to do to my car starting with upgrading the wheels 18" from 17". Would love to get the experience of other members that have done this as a friend on mine keeps insisting that the ride would go down the drain!? tHX

Hi pogo1

As to meet up time, nothing specific yet. Including you, I believe we hv 5 ppl now (mic325, sliu_uu, shield, you and me) so I can safely say we have enough for a fun gathering. I would suggest meeting up later morning, say 11am? at a certain meet up spot. Then we start our drive out to Disneyland/airport. We'll iron out the details.

As to your wheel upgrade, I don't think it'll make the ride terribly worse. Especially if you switch to non run flat tires with your new 18" wheels. It may even get better believe it or not. mic325 has non run flat Goodyear F1s on 19" wheels, he can tell u his first hand experience.

Hi gf366
Your M-kit looks pretty good where did you get it? I really want to get it but it's too expensive in BMWHK and I don't know any reliable shop in HK.
Thanks
Benny

Yes, most definitely. Im thinking if they serve lunch at either of the Disneyland Hotels. But then again, Im sure both will be packed with people due to Golden Week. An alternative would be the Regal Hotel airport. We can all hv our cars valet parked in front of the hotel for group picture taking

So are u in hehe....

Btw, why sell your wheels so quickly? What do u hv in mind as replacements? Im looking to put 10mm spacers in the rear. U know where they are sold in HK?

How about this for our tentative Oct 11th run down:

11am : meet up at designated spot (T.B.A.)
11:15am : departure from meet up spot and grp drive towards Disneyland Hotel/Airport Regal Hotel (photo/video shoot along the way)
11:40am : arrival at Disneyland/Airport Regal Hotel, more photo shoot?
12 noon : lunch time
Thereafter: free and easy

It depends on whether Disneyland hotel serves lunch to non hotel residence and would allow parking on premise. If not, then we'll lunch at Regal Airport.

Of course, this is just a prelim and subject to suggestions and changes. But I figure someone has to get things started

Interesting price quotes I just got from BMW HK

1. Xenon headlight HKD$31,000.00 promotion price with installation
2. M aedrdynamic kit HKD$29,000.00 promotion price with installation
3. M5 Trunk Finisher HKD$2,623.00
4. M5 mirrors HKD$14,680.00 promotion price with installation
5. AC body kit HKD$40,000.00 promotin price with installation

The xenon lights are priced higher than the M kit...ha!
