it's very eye catching if you look at it, but my experience with my wife is that she doesn't care at all. i drive her home everynite and after a week of installing the sports steering wheel i told her it's new, and she's like "yea I thot it's new too, cos it looks thicker and smaller and not just rounded..." as for the warranty it was OK for me I went back to BMWHK the 2nd year and they did not say any thing.
for the airbag, as long as it not damage and the car computer says OK it will be 100% fine and working.

I go AK47 to install it and had to cut the old 1.

i just learnt Pingy has fitted it on, how loud is it with your pre Valvetronic engine?
actually this model was not for my valvetronic, so it should fit Pingy's better.

Quads are bad for you (at the start anyway)
esp if your wife notices them.
but she didn't notice the diffuser

No, you must change the steering wheel & the airbag together (unless you already have the round airbag). They are both on sale at the BMW HK now. I think the price for both (must sell together) is HK$11,000.
