If want, I suggest find a after Sep/2005, because have more function and new N52 engine than before.

 

2005+ has magnesium alloy engines and new engine cover, start button, etc,. BUT it is too quiet, it hasn't got the whirr and whoosh of the <2005 ones,
BUT you can add a K+N and Arqray exhaust like mine and it sounds like a V8.
GS300 - crap styling, limited headroom, over-rated & over stated technology,no rear leg space,no Kudos, why would you consider that? they are ok in a straight line,in Japan it is just another Toyota, for that money you can consider Audi A4 S Turbos etc,. we flippin ran all over the rare ones we saw whilst i was last in Germany, they wobble at high speed
see a E60 in the flesh, + our mods esp Derricks and you will know what i mean.
if you can afford it buy the used ones from BMW HK, or really reputable shop inside a reputable sales place like Wanchai no.1, they won't screw you, unlike most of the gangsta style salespeople (exceptions apply)

All car sellers will screw you unless you know about car or a guy like Kin to help you out on buying it.
I tried out a $380,000 2005 530i about 8 months ago with my friend and I asked the sale guy is this a China car and he say no.
so we tested it out and the car was ruff as hell, the steeling wheel was shaking abit and the suspension where making funny noise.
also I know that the car has a full respray and change colour in black and he say it has not. :thumbsdown:
So in the end you can not trust any of the 2nd hand car seller unless a friend knows them.

If next time I get a 2nd hand car I would go to Kin and pay him a few 100 dollar to check out the car before I even think of buying it.

 

It was a nice monthly meet.
The drive is a bit short this time but next time we can drive abit longer.

I saw Keith back side license plate light which really good even we took photo with street light compare with other's took the photo in dark night :thumbsdown:

I feel valid for this invest. Now under Keith and mine for run-in test. If after three month still OK will release to public.
But have hard feeling about the result compare with Keith one . Since mine is black in color.
Now, fully understood why other's adv also took the photo in silver or white color car.

Sing Fai Motor sports is a 1 man band, I think he is the best on fixing, modding and giving advice on what is the best for our cars. he will also tell you what to look out for on your car when it become old or pushed too hard........

Sing Fai Motor sports is a BMW specific shop, but if you know him well he will help you out on other cars if he has the time. He fixs all my 3 cars BMW, Honda and Smart.
His work is so detail that I dont think you will ever find a place that change so cheep $$$ and get 6 star servise.

BTW I dont work for him and I do get money form him for saying how good he is.
All I what for people is get the best for our cars and to our BMW family.

There are many cowboys out there and rip you off and do bad jobs, I been down that road and hope that other do not follow the same path.
