hi guys
just purchased a 525i, it is fun driving but the initiation of car is a disappointment esp. up alone steep road.
heard that some bro has a device called sprint booster in place and it is like working miraculously.
was therefore wondering how I can get one here.
many thanks,
ed
Congrats
you have the same car as my,
Did you buy the car new?
you can get it at Sing Fai Motorsports.
the best mod you can ever do for this price.
are you coming to the meet on Friday?

and you are not the youngest in here, i am 24
People think driving an E60 will be old/business man, but in fact, we are younger than the e90 lads.
Keith a bady in our e60, just kidding.
Word that right on. No need to be old to drive a E60. It dose not matter how old you are but once you get in a e60 with SB, we feel like a big kid 18" again
we are much younger and down to earth that the e90 guys

Welcome Ed!

And pinguhk said, you can get one at Sing fai for around 2400HKD, i sounds a bit expensive for a plastic with few wires and chips, but it does transform your car, everyone in here got one

So hows the whole modding and warranty thing work in HK? Are the dealers quite reasonable or or they complete knobs about it?

Also do you guys take the 5 back to the dealer for oil changes and whatnot or do all of you have a friendly garage to take to?

you can change wheels and K&N filter
but don't touch the engine like remap.
also don't change the brakes like pads, disk and steel pipes that will void the warranty.

we all don't go back to the dealer after the 2 years warranty,
The place to go is Sing Fai Motor Sports which he is the best on fixing and moding BMW cars.
he know almost every thing of BMW cars.

1 more thing is change your oil at 7000km to 8000km, do not go with the computer, it sucks and a wast of time.
after changing the oil DO NOT RESET THE COMPUTER or this will void the warranty too.
it only cost about $1400.
don't tell BMWHK dealer after you have change the oil.

Pingy is right, so unless you buy brand new don't bother.
Mine is still under warranty so still back to the dealer for changing things.
hey if you want some more power go for the V8!!!! 540,550i, relatively cheap
