I detail the car myself, so no recommendation sorry...
but don't trust the KeePre coating, my mate nearly spend 4000HKD for the coating!! Car wash is okey tho...
thanks, my car is usually waxed by maid, just wanna see if waxing by shop would make the car super shine...

Wax will only protect the paintwork from the environment, even a million dollar wax will not bring the shine without polishing.

Machine polishing is the only way to bring out the shine, i saw a garage in Tsuen Wan using the Meguiars Pro range, good stuff but am not sure their skills tho...let me know if you are interested.

it not the good itis the person that is waxing it.
so I DIY my car so that I know I give it 100%.
The 1 think to get a super shine is the car must be 100% clean in the 1st place or the wax will not do a good job.
Just like a under coat on a paint job.

Pingy is right, the best is to do it yourself, I use W companyt for waxing, only average handiwork and so I won't renew the programme, but better than by your maid.

Here's a reminder Pingy not to get those expensive wheels!!

I just been using cheep cheep UK autoglym stuff, it dose the job and I think itis good for the money.
I know that there are polish that cost $1000s of dolla, but I always ask myself do I need the car to reflect my self in it.
Unless itis a sports car or a classic car I just dont bother getting the expensive stuff.

1 think all you guys must get is the 3M Cleaner Clay which cost about $160
this will clean all the crap on the car but it will take alot of time to rub the car but itis well worth it.

Autoglym SRP is pretty good stuff, what it does is hiding most of the swirls by its custom blended resins, however, the swirls will come back and it wont last long. Topping SRP with sealant or Wax is recommended as SRP is a polish and not a wax.

Not sure have you ever heard Clearkote, simliar to the SRP but it gives much wetter look, great for the light coloured car. Let me know if anyone of you are interested, i have some left.
I spent over 1000pounds trying this and that when i was in UK, including some ridiculously expensive waxes (2000HKD for a small tube of wax)

3M clay bar is great stuff! unlike other brands which need to be used with quick detailer to provide the lube for the clay, it can use plain water alone to provide enough lube for the clay bar, great stuff and recommended.
