Hahhaha I just placed a deposit for a Smart Car today... went and test drove it at the Mercedes Dealer today... What was surpising was the transmission on the car... its a manual tranny... like SMG... but it shifted like a grandmother...

yes my is the same, that why it needs to be reprogramed every 6 months.
So are they still giving 1 or 2 years warranty?
cos they going to close down the smart.
Are you going to get the SP1? Barbus tuned. Its much more faster.
Or even better get it tuned to 110hp and it can do over 220km.

No info on the warranty or packages or options or anything yet... just put a deposite down... they're not comming to the US till the first quarter of 2008. They said probably by March 2008.

these car are hard to tip over, I go in and out on HK roads and the car move very quick just like the mini.
but to do this even better you will need to mod the wheels to wider 1s, which I have not done yet.
dont forget peoplr buy these cars are for city not for highways, just like hk or London
