The back ones are just stick on with double sided tape, pull it out gently and it should come off but the plate will not be reuseable though.

Why are you replacing your plate?
hmm... thinking about it. can we not use double side tape for the front instead of the screws? probably not because it's curved along the bumper. just wondering has anybody tried that before

has anybody tried replacing the front and back registration plate successfully for e60? the front looks really straight forward by removing the two screws but the back looks complicating.. just worried that the paint will come off if done incorrectly
when you take the back 1 off use some wd40 and it will be easy to take off and the plate will be off.

thanks mate. just wanted to be sure before i do that i suppose i would need to find some thin double side tape isn't it? or else if it's too thick, it looks ugly with the plate "sticking out" effect. do you know where to buy those double side tapes?

i've got tinted plates made

My front plate is stick on instead of screwed on, but I have the M-Kit and it comes with a license plate holder.

But even if you can stick on the front plate on the regular bumper, the front bumper is already damaged by the original screws.

Not sure, but I think if you take it to BMWHK and ask them, they might do it for you. Is just tape, nothing expensive.

What does the tint plate looks like, post some pics.

You mean use WD 40 for the residual tape right? Using WD 40 before taking the plate off doesn't serve a purpose.
