the coupe will always look better,
this time the car is longer at 4.6m, so rear legroom should improve over the outgoing model,
i reckon the 4 door looks much better than the Audi A4 soap bar

 

I agree the F30 is far better looking than the A4

But I also think the A6 looks abit better than F10, maybe the F10 looks too chunky and big, just like the new 6er.

 

the f10 w big wheels look pretty good actually, imo. I always thought the e60 was too cramp for family of 5 (or 4 + a helper) so bigger will be good for some, the only thing I dont like abt it is the weight. along the same line, the good thing abt the f30 is that its lighter than then e90.

 

i reckon people should look at the dimensions first and the styling later,
4.8-4.9m is the ideal size for a family saloon and 4.6 ok for a compact family car.
people should also compare the size and not the "alphanumeric number".
for a start the 3 series is 10cm shorter than a c class and a 5 series is longer than an A5........
non car people, actually think they are the same size!

the F30 is turbocharged.........means that tuning will be easy and any exhaust will produce extra power....
but what happened to the straight six hum, has anybody heard these engines?

 

Thats right size dose matter in HK when drive or parking unlike UK
roads are narrow, car parks are small.
A5 use the A4 chassis so not in the 5er class, it is in the middle of 3er and 5er

The x35 still use the i6 engine, think i saw a some where that bmw might be working on a v6
Just heard that the Toyota gt86 will have LSD as standard and the Subaru equivalent will have a stripped down ver for 300k+, that would be v tempting!

 

One can have a lot of fun in an e90 even in stock form. in an e60, everything is softer and that IMO provides more opportunities for mod. Havnt tried the f10/f30, i imagine their design/settings would follow the prev gen.

 

but the low end models dont have turbos like the 320i F30, need to pay extra to add a SS.

 

its like cleavage the bigger the merrier.............

things have changed, car sounds can be manipulated, the tradition of the i6 is numbered, look at porsche, now they use v8

i reckon the subaru will be a bomb to drive, and looks better than the "dead whale" the 1 series hatch.
