am at my deep end when it comes to suspension. but did google a bit, seems to me just another (better?) way to connect the antiroll / sway bar to the suspension (wheel/axle). You need to have urs replaced? doesnt look to me to be an expensive job.

stronger and thinker and lighter maybe. But if it is metal like the SWbar then most of the time it is much more heaver

The aftermarket one does look much thicker than stock so assuming it is stronger, then it will make the sway bar more effective I guess.
