according to utqg, treadwear on (just for reference, since apparently each manufacturer measurement is slightly different)

re11 180
ps2 220
s001 280
extreme contact 340

higher the # longer the tire lasts.

maybe HK's crap roads increase tread wear, the roads patched by those foreign guys are so bad :thumbsdown: that
i'm never gonna own a hard riding car again, you can see that its totally uneven, and mainly on the left side of your lane so that
you are always jiggling on your left shocks
Bring back good soft tarmac and not the patched concrete/mongrel road surfaces we have nowadays,
guys complain to the transport dept/highways department!!!!

1 year???? how many km?

i had turanzas on another car some years ago and they were superb and very quiet but 1 year is a bit fast, cos u don't do too much mileage.
Conti come standard on a lot of MB, being a German tyre.
Some reviews put the CONTI SC above the Michelins now,

did about 13000km on the tryes and about 5 run at TMS
