no car is 100% safe after so many years and mile on the clock.
need to check fully every year for old rusty parts. better be safe than sorry.
I had a mazda MPV which was 9 years old and I only owned it for 1 year until it broke down at 11pm on the Highway and the next day the maniacs say I better off scrapping it than fix the old parts. The engine just died on me.
MB are known for there computer parts to brake down quite easy and I hate to see any electronic brake down and not work.

Buddies, please inspect your own for safely reason. Which located left hand side of the engine, from the ABS pump outlet pipe line. There are two out of four pipes made of rubber in between. They will fade; expand and worn out afterward.

AK helped me to inspect and found have leakage also. Therefore, I upgrade that part to Stainless for long last. I found it's worth after tested drive. The brake pedal feeling improved and firmed that before.
Are you talking about me Ricky san?

"spring roll"
i had my DME changed 3 times on my E60, no car is safe from un-necessary electronic crap,
i mean who needs a digital engine oil dip display?

thats the reason for one of my German collegues to blow 2 engines up, Audi A6 and Toureg,
there was a "fault' in the sensor, so the engine had run out of oil, but it showed it as normal........................
BANG mind u he was doing 250 all day long........

if it were legal i would fit a titanium roll cage, carbon covered of course
The person sitting inside the car will receive even more severe injury if 4 points (Or 5) seat belts are not equipped with the presence of roll cage.

ha ha, imagine a fat guy with that on!!! he won't be able to get out,
yeah for me only the 4point is an option, i'm kinda too big for the 5th point to fit
and also foam pipe covering over the bars are needed...
ha ha remember "Demolition man starring S Stallone and W Snipes?
the whole car was encased in polystyrene type foam in a collision?
Airbags were invented in the 70's and an option on some US cars and then on the MB,
whereafter MB cars had the first 3 point seatbelt...
