yes
if you don't they will make a record that you have mod the engine and if any thing goes wrong then they will not fit it for free.

Does the stock filter also reusable? Or at least recyclable?
But, in any case you can get it replace for free under first two-year warranty,
K&N is about 3 to 5 hp depends on the engine.
OEM filter can not use again so not green at all, need to change every year.

start/stop will give better emission data but I am sure this feature will put extra wear on the starter motor, battery and engine wear so holistically whether its actually greener is a big ?

to be honest, the diff is so small I could hardly feel any. over the long term you can save $ and better for the env but cleaning the filter takes time (it needs to be completely dry b4 applying the oil) so it could be a bit of trouble for some.

The trick is to clean it in the summer
I will clean my in 2 months time when the sun is the hottest and it will dry up very fast.
today is a good day to clean it.

Sounds too good to be true!
But, seems impossible as you can not get more power by using less gas, can't you?
(so long as the machine is not tech improvement, but with HP increase mod)
So I think there must consume more gas despite how small to gain more power, which you should bear
