Oops. I should make it clear. $8600 for plasmadirect and $3000 for plasmaground. Both included installation cost.

A bro got the same from ebay (see below link) costed him $8800 and $2800. And he has to self install. So I guess that's pretty fair.

You are right. So may be do the Plasma after the warranty period. BMS power box should be untraceable, right? Or just take it out before service.

BMS power not just plug and play, it need some wiring in between the ECU. Not easy for self install.

BMS Power Box 10+ Horsepower and 10+ lb-ft Torque.

Not sure about the Plasma Direct and Ground.

Plasma Direct
A revolution in ignition technology!!
The Plasma Direct is the ignition coil with a high power amplifier built in to it.
The Plasma Directs produce 4 times more spark energy than stock coils and also generate an ultra fast multi spark discharge of 10 sparks up to highest RPM.
The spark amperage is increased 100%, allowing the spark to reach many more molecules and therefore accelerate the ignition and combustion process. This is extremely important in forced induction applications but also improves the performance of normally aspirated engines.

The Plasma Direct will increase horsepower and torque throughout the entire rpm range. This upgrade will also reduce fuel consumption. Even the engines with a legendary smoothness will be further refined with the Plasma Direct upgrade. Plasma Directs are OBD II compliant and C.A.R.B. approved, **EACH UNIT WILL COME WITH C.A.R.B. APPROVED NUMBER**

Installation is easy. Direct bolt-in to the engine, no splicing or cutting into stock wiring, simply replace the stock coils with Plasma Direct Coils and ready to go!

Plasma Ground
The Plasma Ground is connected at the ground side of the ignition coil and increases performance and engine efficiency by creating an ultra fast alternating current at the secondary spark discharge, this is called Coil Ground Tuning.
Plasma Ground works perfectly together with all other Okada Projects Plasma Ignition parts and increases secondary spark discharge current.
Increase in secondary current is extremely important, since it creates a faster burn for high performance engines. The Plasma Ground is engineered to increase spark effectiveness on BMW engines, and is 100-percent compatible with any late model OBD and engine control units.

Yup, I studied the installation guide. Not easy. A guy has DIY, took him an hour.

I would only mod with what does not void warranty, or untraceable!

It's ok I am not leaving. I switched to land rover discovery 3 TDV6, they claim about 0.8/km which is 1/3 of the fuel price of the E60. And the car gets much bigger. But I lost all the good handling in this giant.

RC, if you can't get more than 10% increase i think better not spend the amount.
