I pick-up my car last Dec and till now recently, HK summer heat is killing my cars performance and that is related to the turbo and heating issues+traffic.

If i buy this for Fun+Track, i need $ 50,000 more for upgrades= $750,000+.

So i think a standard M3 is a much better choice.

This is just my own view on this.
this is why I dont touch the engine just spend too much and might as well get a true sports car.
I only spend on handling and looks for most cars

Turbo cars just won't work well for HK mainly due to weather and Humidity

DY; did your temperature gauge stay or over 120 C, which I think definitely affect engine out put?
But I noticed that even recent hot days, the blades behind grill still close after normal running!
I intended to check this before shut off engine.
My gauge only indicated 110-115 C after pulling hard occasionally recent hot days, even at noon.
I saw those blades opened only when the car stationed with sunny days.
Could those blades be reprogram to open more time, cooling the engine or turbo?
Will this will help?

Yes mainly stay at 120C, also with the air-con on most of the time + traffic

What about the Fan noise? sometime its went -off loud for around 30secs.

Saw other forums that temp should stay 110 C, to which they even yelled too high.
Just small thing, have bmwhk reset it.
Didn't pay attention to that fan noise, but will check it out today

Didn't know this. So am I making the right choice to have the NA engine? Probably not, your engine has more potential for performance mods.

More specific on your 50K mod details please?
