5Dmk2 body is $16800
for the kit lens it sounds about right.
you do know 5Dmk3 will be out this year, so if you are not going on hoilday then I would wait for that.
or I sell my to you and I get 5dmk3, price for the new body should be about $25000 when it comes out.

 

yes the kit is red line and it is ok lens for beginner

 

better still save and get a flat and in 4 to 5 years you can drive any thing like me.
for me I waited 22 years for the super car.
