My Ride: Mini Cooper
if remember correctly, the rs5 is heavier than the m3. also the rs5 had quite a lot of understeer (v common w 4wd cars), its v noticable when it went round the tg track, especially next to the tail happy m3. the high rev high bhp days are over I think. tc engine is okay I guess and more suited to hk roads anyway.
cant wait till they start puting these engines in the 3er and 5er

My Ride: BMW E60 530i , Silver with leather Air Con iDrive 17" Breyton Rims with Dunlop Sp Sport tyres (M-Tech Bodykit and rims WANTED)
Alfa Romeo 147 TS1.6 , Black with Air Con 17" Multi Spoke alloys with Bridgestone RE040 tyres
Toyota MR-S 1.8 VVTI , Lagoon Blue with Red leather Air Con 15" standard alloys with Toyo tyres
Toyota Celica 1.8 VVTI, Lagoon Blue, Air Con, 16" Standard alloys with Kuhmo KU31, EBC Green Stuff
As everyone knows the next M5 will be V8 Twin Turbo, which has huge amount of torque,
In contrast, R8 and Ferrari both are NA engined cars which will give less stress to the gearbox i guess compare with turbo charged.
Also supercars tended to change the whole gearbox every 30K-50K miles, which can't be happen in BMW as customer expecting they will last years after years.
Just my guess
