I'm not sure if your HID and/or LED stuff is using BMW original parts. Just I was told by my Service Advisor the programming is needed.

They are after market stuff and not BMW.
If it was BMW stuff then 100% will need to program the computer to work
you forgot we have the best electric after market person hear on this world forum which can crack some of the error code.

Dont think BMW has HID? If they did then i would of considered it!!

I've just got my car back from BMW.
Retrofitted the i-pod kit on my car, I'm feeling happy with this mod but the only downside is the i-drive can only display English as factory setting! I've asked the Service Advisor to check for me if they can feed-in the T. Chinese as default language so that I can see the Chinese songs title

I'm sure BMW has Bi-Xenon headlight as option, they won't offer foglight with HID as option though ...

How much did you pay if you dont mind me asking??

Im sick of using my ipod through my aux cable... if the bmw ipod kit is good ill get that, otherwise its dennison 500...
