I love the DD sport mode in the F10 528i with this option I dont think I will add the SB.
Keith you must try out the DD sport mode in the F10 528i.
sb seemingly gives the driver higher sense of torque initially but less towards the end, whereas stock setting is more gradual and progressive. at the end of the day though, its how long it takes to reach certain speed that matters.

i still can't get why u didn't like the SB, if you reset the computer and refit it, try not stamping down too hard, i think the gearbox tunes
it self or something to you first 100km (if i'm right) and keeps it that way.
i guess the only thing you can do now is get light forged alloys and a M kit....
i just don't like the super "chok" when it kicks down
and it just interrupt too much when i drive normal
also.... fuel consumption is another issue as well..

some don't like it because they what a remap which I understand.
but not liking the full response on the car
it is not about the response of the car
i think the sudden force is damaging the gear box and clutch....
also quite annoying and "chok"

lol this is why SBv2 come in handy.
dont forget there is a switch that you can turn off when drive normal and turn on when you what some fun.
fuel consumption well for me it is less and not more.
even if it is more it is only $0.1hk per km which is nothing for loads of fun.
I always say if you always think about fuel consumption you should not be driving a BMW and a Toyota Prius

the stock setting is for safety and not for speeding
the SBv2 is for speeding and not safety

well so far over 8 year of having the SB I have never seen a gear box and clutch damage by SB
I had my old E60 for 6 years and it was fine and still going strong.
also by the time it dose brake down I think you have sold the car which will not be more that me right.
6 years was the longest I have ever keeped a car.
most of the time we change cars every 3 years.
