nah, I bought the minerva and macbookpro for the hifi, but move them over for headphone recently. so hifi can only play cd/sacd now.

just use itune and rip to AIFF, used to use EAC and rip WAV, but I am too lazy to tag those WAV so now only AIFF.

surround speakers... ppl said the oppo bp-83 is good bang for bucks, I never tried though. Cables for surround speakers, no need to use Hifi stuff, I am using some Belden 8471, you can find them in Wah Fai in Apliu st.
the hifi show was definitely too noisy for decent audition, nevertheless, its convenient to visit a few places on the same day just to get a taste of the poison.

both oppo 83 and 8471 are on my list. I most likely will go for 8471, its cheap and safe. for bluray, probably will go for lx52 if the price is good but need to check first if I can rent discs easily.

Should be.

Hawk brake pads comments:
Solid feeling, no sponge feel like EBC, like OEM but no dust after two days driven. Not yet fully bleeding. Mo's Ferodo still have bester feeling and response than me right now.

Disadvantage: ruin out disk may faster then OEM due to harder materials
