your current blade doesn't work?
if it didn't wipe the glass clean
you can try this
go and ask for the very fine sand sheet
run it though your wiper blade a few times
try the outcome on wind screen
if not clean enough just run a few times more
btw please let me share my experience playing on wiper blades
i had tried out a few different cost range wiper blades
the result is, all the rubber finally gonna oxide and they will turn hard and don't clean the screen probably
especially when you always park your car under the sunlight
so what I recommend is , get a mid range price wiper and replace them whenever they turn bad
that should give you the best result for windscreen cleaning
and of course, you need to take care your windscreen as well

Thanks. I already used the water sand paper method for few years and I always put a small piece of it in the driver place.
My existing pair is 6 months old but I always park indoor. Maybe I should buy cheap cheap China blade ($100 a pair) and change it quarterly!
the damaged wiper no longer stright
so you need to use a fine sand paper to refurbish it to a straight blade so the water won't escape
the sand paper only cost a few dollers
why not try it out for free on a unusable wiper blade?
but of course, it depends, if your case is harden rubber blade then it can't help

and i used my dad's old style method
he told me to just wax the windscreen
and it works fine till now
but be careful don't contact the wiper to the windscreen before you rub off the dry wax
no guranteen if this is the right way but it's easy and it works for me

Maybe I should try this traditional old method. I don't request for perfect smooth because I know how old my car is. But the jumping noise "bang bang bang bang bang..." is very annoying and terrible.
