My Ride: BMW E60 530i , Silver with leather Air Con iDrive 17" Breyton Rims with Dunlop Sp Sport tyres (M-Tech Bodykit and rims WANTED)
Alfa Romeo 147 TS1.6 , Black with Air Con 17" Multi Spoke alloys with Bridgestone RE040 tyres
Toyota MR-S 1.8 VVTI , Lagoon Blue with Red leather Air Con 15" standard alloys with Toyo tyres
Toyota Celica 1.8 VVTI, Lagoon Blue, Air Con, 16" Standard alloys with Kuhmo KU31, EBC Green Stuff
Any recommendation lads? I used mobile 1 gold label before and the car feels exactly the same!!
I mean before the oil change!
i paid 1xxx HKD for the oil change every 8K kms, but never beneficial for the money that i paid

But just too much choices on the market and mobile 1 doesnt come cheap.
I am a strange guy, i cant feel any differences every time after i changed the oil on my E60,
no matter mobile 1 gold label, or the one AK use
Maybe more difficult to feel in larger cc engine??
I use motul 300V on my old MRS,
it does has huge difference though,
the engine is definitely quieter and pick up faster

I put in amsoil last, independent test said it doesnt last as well as mobile 1 but at least its bmw ll01 approved.

In my opinion only:
I use BMW recommended engine oil and change the oil according to the on board computer (say 20,000 to 25,000KM interval).
We have serveral BMW models in the past (and present) that has combined mileage over 600,000km, we don't have any kind of engine damage or performance drop by following this practice.
Disclaimer: Most of our cars run medium to long distance highway mileage per trip (20km+). We seldom stuck in City Traffic, well, say 30% of the City mileage.

Mobil is watered down nowadays
BUT it just lasts longer, cleaner, there is no special effect.
i changed mine every like 8,000km at BMW and they noticed that with the K+N it was black,
so if u use K+N then you need to change every 10K km
changing oil for German cars, it is supposed be changed every like 30000-40000km
as opposed to the Dah Chong recommended 6000km for Jap cars like Honda.

Mo, I don't think this is a "mistake". The 19" is really good looking. You are already very lucky that your wife can drive and she has her own car. My wife did not have driving license and I only have one car, she depends on me for travel around.

look at ricky he say he end a year ago and now he install the CF splitters.
there will always some thing new and cheap to mod on the car.

same here when I drove the S2000 and then back to the e60 so comfy but still sporty
