if it was supposed to fit the stock, then easy peasy, just take it back for one that fits, i mean
is it TUV(type approved) or purpose made or as i asked "universal"?
actually the connecting pipe of the Arqray is exactly the same shape and bend as oem, just the muffler is different.
if you are driving on smooth roads that is fine, imagine going over a nasty bump........
KC- i don't think it will mess the manifold up, but there will be a dent in the exhaust very soon, then he can wrap
some exhaust wrap around that part to stop the rattle against the stiff bar.....
or get a softer exhaust hang rubber, that way it hangs lower.
Alan it is very bad having a rattle in a German car, you have the options, go for it.

the way I look at it, the vibration frm the exhaust touching the bar will be transmitted to the other parts connected it so the cat, exhaust manifold will have some additional stress. whether that will cause any actual damage in the short or long term, i wouldnt know. if you want to keep the bars, I would do what song bill suggested.
mike , the exiga has your name written all over it

denting is easy, you just hit it with an iron bar...hard
bending is done by Mandrel, leaving no wrinkles inside the exhaust pipe
Alan, i think you had better take it off or you will have rattles and more trouble,
maybe Capt can think of a solution.
but i heard from KC that the improvement in control was excellent!!!

they could have bend my 1 to fit, but he say it be better making a u channel to be safe.
It's just a theory of mine. U probably r right and might be it will be ok. Just since Alan asked for worst case scenario...
