My Ride: BMW E60 530i , Silver with leather Air Con iDrive 17" Breyton Rims with Dunlop Sp Sport tyres (M-Tech Bodykit and rims WANTED)
Alfa Romeo 147 TS1.6 , Black with Air Con 17" Multi Spoke alloys with Bridgestone RE040 tyres
Toyota MR-S 1.8 VVTI , Lagoon Blue with Red leather Air Con 15" standard alloys with Toyo tyres
Toyota Celica 1.8 VVTI, Lagoon Blue, Air Con, 16" Standard alloys with Kuhmo KU31, EBC Green Stuff
EBC redstuff is good, only 20%< dusts compared with OEM, slightly higher performance than the OEM and no fading after spiritual driving! but the pedal feels soft compared to OEM and the initial bite is not good enough. But its still a great pad overall
I believe Ferodo DS2500(Which Mo has) is more refined than EBC, not sure the performance and fading tought
Hawk has been rated high by the US members, and Ricky will test it out later after his pads wear out more
I had EBC redstuff, Momo has Ferodo and Ricky will have the Hawk (US) soon.

momo
u mean both you and keith's brake pad do not have much brake dust? actually i found that most of your rims are quite clean and not sticking much dust.
I don't know mark's situation because he has black rims...

Are these 3rd party racing pads expensive?
I absolutely not a heavy brake driver, i am using the stock one which make me unhappy. I like my car shinny and clean running on the street.
not true, these pads are design for road use and not track.
so they will last long.
maybe max will be less 10% of the life of the disk but not much at all.
most of us change the disk also to racing 1s so the disk will last foreven for me.
I change disk and pads last time at 450k and still had 65% left on them.
I dont brake most of the time, I just let the car roll.
