Does it means that my light module is gone? The lights are not working even replacing back with the original bulb...any further troubleshooting?

Be careful, without license plate light and driving at night will be caught by police

should be 24k about for the new 5Dmk3
for lens you should only get f2.8 or better.
f4 is wast of time.

then the rich 3 bow lens
Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8 L II USM 12,480
Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8 L USM 11,200 This 1 wait until mk2 comes out. ( I will get the MK2 which will be about 14k)
Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8 L II IS USM 18,000

or if you can not get these then
poor 3 bow lens
Tamron AF 17-50mm f/2.8 SP XR Di II LD ASL IF VC (B005) 4,380 (did have sold)
Tamron AF 28-75mm f/2.8 SP XR Di LD ASL IF Macro (A09) 2,800 (I have will be selling it)
Tamron AF 70-200mm f/2.8 Di LD [IF] Macro SP (A001) 5,500 (I have)
