Are you sure its a socket with wiring?
I am afraid is socket only. Back to the friendly of world. That new wiring will also wear out few years later. Tape it for safety and let it be.

They would hide at spot like this and point the laser gun at your car from behind... they are targeting at the cars coming down from the bridge...
this is scary
Now this is scary!

Good question. I asked the same question to BMW, the answer is he did not know. He said base on the figure, there is only socket, no wire. But I told him that the wire should be jammed inside during production, he got silent. Anyway, my socket is broken by previous owner, so I want to change anyway. If it does not come with wire, I do it myself.

Yes, I know the new wire will be wear out 3 years later also. but by then, i hope I will change to F10 or X6.

never got caught on the downhill side but been flashed a few times by friendly taxi drivers. as a rule of thumb, always be on the look out when going downhill

I am ok on skillwise for DIY. But a bit worry whether changing it myself will come out error code in idrive.

AK should have a lot of spare socket for use. Save 38.00 and buy us a can of coke.

yeah, I saw this in WnaChai also, they check the speed in front of you and take pic with flash. But I wonder how this camera can take pic for our front license plate because they are reflective, only the back is non-reflective.
