I change the engine oil in AK and brand is Mobil. Quite good feeling. Hope can blow water with you in next meet.

+1 dont use anything that dose not have BMW approve on it
I used to use ultraman 0-30 which is BMW approve $280 for 4L but need to change at every 6K to 7K, unlike the other brands which can last up to 10k.
but I would change any oil at 7k no matter what they say. Save on fuel and better for the engine

thats weird, last time I called them, they wont tell me the specific weight but only said they used mobil 1 gold which is 0-40. in the us, if u dont use ll01 spec oil, you lose the warranty apparently, I dont know how they can tell though.

yup, it would be good feeling when using 0-30.
But for the 'moneywise', this would be not much diffrent in saving $ for fuel as we need to change oil more frequently.
