David

Sorry to see that pic, very painful to see an E60 like that. Last time I paint my bumper it cost me around 7K at BMW.

I've got initial quote by my BMW service advisor yesterday,

~ 4K for the front bumber
~ 3.5K for the left side panel

as I just told him the damage by phone, the price just for reference.

AC_S5,

do u think it is reasonable? the 7K you said including front and rear bumber?

I think it's reasonable quote from BMW HK, since there's two area you need for the re-paint. But sure you can get better quote from outside, let said around 4k.

Of course you can do all that outside for a much lower price. But since David's car is still new I think it would be better to get it done by BMW. From your quote is two are for around 7K which is actually good if you compare my job is only for the rear bumper. Did I got rip off

gf366 have the kit install by Canful motor (the one that sells water benz). The total comes to around $20k. BMW charges $29k for the parts & installation.

Try to contact him and see if he can gives you more details.
