As far as I know about vinyl (the cheap one) is acidic in nature and would emit acidic vapour under certain (high) temperature. That's why it's being banned from some European countries. I am not sure the source of the vinyl wrap and it's quality so I cannot comment further.

Agree. I might order the vinyl wrap from this webpage as it does seem to be high quality! Just need to find a body shop to do the actual application of the wrap.
